Went to Several concerts: Billy Joel & Elton John (1/18), Marshall Crenshaw (1/25,9/6) Bruce Springsteen (8/10) David Benoit (11/10) and Karla Bonoff (11/24) and a few Operas: Barber of Seville(5/3), Queen of Spades, Lucia di Lammermoor (9/20) and a Musical: Man of La Mancha
Attended the VA Book Publishing Day at UVA(3/23), the VA Gold Cup (5/4) Fairfax Fair, Alexandria B-Day Celebration, Scottish Games, the Mt Vernon 18th Century Fair, the Occoquan Arts Festival, the Waterford Fair, the Audubon Holiday Fair and saw Mount Vernon by candle light.
I did a NRC freelance editing job for the Department of Transportaion and wrote the new addition of the "Fun & Places in Washington DC" Reference Guide
NCEMCH went under a major reorg and our offices moved from Arlington back to Georgetown Univ.
Celebrated My Parents 50th Wedding Aniversary and spent Thanksgiving in PA.
Visited my Uncle in Indiana then camped in Holland Michigan and stayed at the Swissotel in Chicago. Also I took a trip to Harpers Ferry to celebrate my Birthday.

Mike won second place in the space/earth science category of the science fair for Arlington County. He was also awarded 2nd place by the Optical Society of Washington and awarded first place ($500) by the The National Space Club.
Mike now has his own computer(DSL) to go along with his Nintendo Game Cube
Mike was selected to represent Gunston in the Arlington County Middle School Band Concert last school year
His Gunston Jazz Combo performed at the State Theater. Now He is in the Wakefield HS concert and jazz band
Paula was also selected to represent Abbington in the Arlington County Elementary School Band Concert
I started a track club for Paula "TFF" (Track For Friends). Everyone on the team placed in at least one event at the Local Finals. Paula came in 2nd in the 50 and will be joining her teamates at the Regional Finals.
While on the family vacation to Chicago Paula got to go to the American Girl Store.
Paula played soccer again this year and their team finished 1st in their division.
